Here in the US we celebrate big things: big cars, big mountains, big meals, big movie stars. So how do we get our heads around nanotechnology? With some difficulty perhaps. People working in this field, and there are more of them every year, work with materials that are measured in nanometers, and one nanometer is one billionth of a meter. As The World's Rebecca Roberts reports, nanotechnology is field in which small is beautiful.
